LEAP Spiral and Forever Sabah are working with Coalition 3H (Humans Habitats Highways) which also comprises of Danau Girang Field Centre (DGFC), WWF Malaysia, Borneo Futures, Seratu Aatai, Bornean Sun Bear Conservation Centre, Jaringan Orang Asli Sabah (JOAS), PACOS Trust, SAVE Rivers Network, 1StopBorneo Wildlife and Sabah Bird Watchers Association to organize and weave a stakeholder web – gathering key government, civil society, science and industry actors – across Sabah and Sarawak.
Our approach is aimed at building engagement and agency within the relevant social, political and legal processes for infrastructural development in these states.

The intention is that partnerships will be forged and research findings disseminated to impact in a proactive manner high level decisions around infrastructure development in Sabah, Sarawak and Malaysia in general. It also aims to increase levels of understanding and enhanced capacity in civil society and the media to engage in debate on the social, economic and environmental risks and benefits of such development.

From February 2020, the Humans Habitats Highways (3H) Coalition which comprises of Forever Sabah, Land Empowerment Animals People (LEAP), Danau Girang Field Centre (DGFC), WWF Malaysia, Borneo Futures, Seratu Aatai, Bornean Sun Bear Conservation Centre, Jaringan Orang Asli Sabah (JOAS), PACOS Trust and SAVE Rivers started an initiative to produce a documentary entitled “Our Road Our Say: Pan Borneo Highway Stories”.
